Catholic weddings are rich in tradition and symbolism. You can expect a full mass, including communion, and a homily from the priest. Don't worry, the priest will share what you need to know to participate in a respectful way.
Is there question in there? You'll be fine. Just find someone who looks like they know what they're doing and follow their lead. If all else fails, just do what the person in front of you is doing. You will not be the only person there who is unfamiliar with the Catholic mass, nor will you be expected to participate in any part of the mass that you are not comfortable with.
We ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. We will have a professional photographer capturing all the special moments.
Feel free to take as many photos as you like during the reception! We would love to see your videos and photos, so please tag us Lillie on social media, or use the hashtag #CJLillieWedding
